Cindy is the agency's Client Relations Coordinator. Cindy has been with Compassionate Home Care since January of 2018. Cindy is a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and began her career with CHC by working in the field with clients. Cindy was the agency’s ICLS (Individual Community Living Supports) Specialist for several years. In her current role as Client Relations Coordinator, Cindy assesses client needs, creates their care plans and oversees caregivers working with ICLS and Homemaking clients as well as CHC’s intake specialists.

 

Cindy is a strong advocate for her clients and works closely with case managers to ensure that clients needs are being met. In addition to her main positions, Cindy assists with a variety of things in the office by helping with scheduling and providing support for the 24 hour emergency support program. Cindy has a wealth of knowledge that is valued and appreciated by all of us at CHC!

Cindy states that she enjoys working in healthcare because she loves that she gets to meet different people. Cindy realizes that many clients don’t have family to help with homemaking, getting to appointments or running errands and it brings her joy to know that she is able to help ensure that they get the help they need. Cindy loves the relationships that are built between clients and caregivers and knows that we are making a difference when the clients look forward to their caregiver coming each week.  

 

Cindy states that working in home care has taught her to always be on the lookout for opportunities to help others. She often finds herself shopping or out in the community and seeing others in need. If someone can not reach something she helps them out, if they can not find something she offers to assist them, she helps them return their cart when they are having a hard time getting around. She catches herself doing this all the time and it brings a smile to her face knowing that those little gestures could make all the difference in someone's day.

Cindy is married and has three adult sons and a dog. Fun Fact: Each of her sons were born in a different state due to moving around with the military. Some of Cindy’s hobbies include: Gardening, crafting, sewing quilts, beading Christmas stockings, making cards, Cricut things, signs, anything that catches her eye, reading, ice fishing, four wheeling and snowmobiling.
