Darlene joins the Compassionate Home Care team as a homemaker/companion and ILS Trainer. Darlene has experience in caring for others as she helped to provide care for a client recovering from leg surgery, and she cared for her mother with Alzheimer’s Disease. Darlene enjoys the smiles on her clients’ faces and knowing that she is making a difference in their lives. Darlene has recently retired from a long and successful career in the retail industry, and she is looking for something that she can enjoy doing that has flexibility, too. Darlene has a son and a daughter who are both married and four grandchildren. She has an 18-year-old grandson and three granddaughters ages eight, five, and three. Darlene has many hobbies which include quilting, crafting, garding, and walking. In addition, Darlene enjoys watching the birds the go to her feeders; she has a farm background and loves animals. Her favorite movies include comedies and Hallmark-style movies.
