Jacquelyn M. joins the Compassionate Home Care team as an experienced caregiver. In fact, she currently works with seniors and persons with disabilities to help them maintain independence at home with personal cares and homemaking. She works at Opportunity Partners with various people served in maintaining health through doctor’s appointments, home health reminders, community access to exercise, shopping, and providing social opportunities. She also assists with homemaking skills and communication with the care teams. Jacquelyn is certified in CPR and First Aid, and she enjoys making a difference in people’s lives and helping people to advocate for themselves to insure they get the correct care for maintaining health and independence. Jacquelyn strives to assist people in their independence and will work with them to maintain it because it assists them in remaining at home longer. Jacquelyn believes that with the coordination of care teams, clients can maintain their homes and health with assistance requested by the clients, themselves, and their family members; communication is the key to success as a caregiver. Jacquelyn lives with her sister and her pets, and in her spare time, she enjoys working on hand crafts, cooking, reading, watching nature, and playing cards and board games. Her favorite movies include most black and white comedies and dramas.
